Coronavirus March 2020..
We are doing everything necessary to ensure that our staff, animals and visitors are safe at this time.
In the current climate, everyone is faced with uncertainty with regards to the coronavirus situation. We have been gearing up for a huge Easter 2020 and like many local attractions, Easter is the kickstart to the year! We are planning to unveil our new restaurant facility, Bear Falls Cafe, which is set to awe visitors and we can't wait to share it with you!
However, we are so unsure of what the future holds for Northumberland Zoo and a lot of small, local businesses.
We never thought we would be in the position to ask for additional support, but the animals and ourselves are worried what the future holds.
If you would like to help us, there are several ways that you can make a difference:
- Purchase admission tickets online - the tickets are valid for 2 years
- Adopt an Animal - we can hold onto the adoption packages until you visit, or post them out!
- Purchase Annual Membership - visit as much as you would like and support the growth of the zoo
- Donate and support the zoo - You can make a donation through our website, follow the links above
As ever, we are so greatful for everything and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
We are passionate and have big ambitions for our zoo in
the future with exciting conservation and exhibit goals. We are so proud
to have recently become provisional members of BIAZA, the British &
Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria. This means that we are going
over and above the normal expectations for Animal Welfare, Education and
We believe we are in an ideal position in the
Northeast of England to educate the public about wildlife and
conservation. We are a very ambitious family and we will achieve this,
however, we can not do that with out your continued support!
All of our income and developments come directly from YOU, our visitors to the Zoo and our admission tickets. We have been amazed in the last 4 years how our visitor numbers have increased substantially year on year. With this, we have expanded at an alarming rate as our regular visitors will know!
