Having recently been awarded our Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) Quality Badge, we are holding a Primary School Trip Open Evening, which will take place on 18th October 2017 at 5.30pm.
The purpose of the open evening is to provide teachers with information about what we offer and what the children will learn from our educational programme.
The opening evening will be held on the Zoo’s premises and the entire park will be open for you to walk around. You can take the opportunity to see what we are all about and get a feel for what we are trying to achieve. There will be a short talk at 6.15pm, where we will introduce our animal park, our history, our programme and our ambitions. There will also be refreshments available as a “thank you” for your time.
With your support and feedback, we aim to offer the best animal-related education package in the North East, which inspires children to open their eyes to the natural world that is around them.
We value your input and feedback highly to ensure that our programme meets your targets and curriculum objectives.
If you are interesting in attending the event, please fill out the contact form here or call Maxine on 01670 787778
Please note that this event is for primary school teachers only.
