Zoo Keeper Experience
We have an awesome team of keepers here
at the zoo who work really hard to keep all of our animals well and thriving.
Spend half a day with our keeper team and see what they get up to!
What is included?
- 4 hours with our knowledgable zoo keeper team (12pm-4pm)
- Work with and feed a wide variety of species and learn about our daily routines
- A Zoo keeper Experience completion certificate
- Admission to the animal park for the participant
- 10 min health & safety briefing session prior to the Encounter
- Complimentary drink for the participant in our tearoom
- The opportunity to learn from and ask questions from our keeper team!
Members and Adopters receive 10% off the encounter price.
The encounter is available for adults and children over the age of 10 years old; however children between the ages of 10 and 15 years must be accompanied by a spectating parent or guardian paying normal zoo admission (1 adult per 1 child).
We regret that this encounter is currently not suitable for wheelchair users.

If under 18, participant must be accompanied by an adult into the animal park and this adult must be present at the Health and Safety briefing alongside the child to complete the Liability Disclaimer. |

Expiration The voucher is valid for 12 months from the purchase date and they MUST PRE-BOOK their encounter. |

PPE Participants
must wear suitable footwear on the day, either boots or wellies. Facemasks are also required. |

Cancellations We reserve the right to cancel encounters at short notice due to animal welfare issues. Poor weather - if the weather is unsuitable for the encounter on the day, then the animal park will decide to reschedule. No reimbursement will be made for any travel expenses. We will try our best to give as much notice as possible. |
